Vivanta Constructions provides custom residential construction, commercial construction, heritage restoration, and smart home automation services. All services are subject to a separate written construction agreement or contract specific to your project.

3. Pricing & Estimates

Pricing referenced on this website (e.g., "from $300/sqft") represents general starting points and may vary based on project scope, materials, site conditions, municipal requirements, and client specifications. Final pricing is determined through a formal written quote provided after consultation and site assessment.

All estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance unless otherwise stated in writing.

4. Smart Home Automation

Our home automation packages include the installation of compatible hardware (e.g., smart switches, Wi-Fi mesh systems, smart locks, motion sensors). The following terms apply:

• Scope: Automation hardware and configuration are tailored during consultation. Devices may include smart switches, smart locks, motion sensors, Wi-Fi mesh with parental controls, and other connected devices. Final scope depends on the package selected.
• Compatibility: Smart home devices are selected based on your preferred ecosystem (Apple Home, Google Home, Alexa, etc.). Compatibility with specific platforms depends on hardware revision and software updates provided by third-party manufacturers at the time of installation.
• Third-party services: Smart home functionality relies on third-party platforms (Apple Home, Wi-Fi routers, cloud services). Vivanta Constructions is not responsible for changes, outages, or discontinuation of third-party services, firmware updates, or protocol changes after installation.
• Automation examples: Automation scenarios described on this website (e.g., "Hey Siri, goodnight") are illustrative examples of what is possible with properly configured hardware. Actual capabilities depend on the devices selected, firmware versions, network configuration, and Apple Home/Matter platform support at time of setup.
• Wi-Fi & parental controls: Wi-Fi scheduling and parental control features (e.g., pausing children's internet access at bedtime) are provided by the mesh router system and governed by that manufacturer's software. Vivanta Constructions configures these during installation but ongoing management is the homeowner's responsibility.
• Warranty: Hardware carries the manufacturer's warranty. Vivanta Constructions provides a 1-year workmanship warranty on the installation itself (wiring, mounting, configuration).

5. Construction Agreements

All construction projects require a separate written contract that specifies scope of work, timeline, payment schedule, change order procedures, warranty terms, and dispute resolution. These Terms do not replace or override any signed construction agreement.

Construction timelines are estimates and may be affected by weather, material availability, permit processing, inspections, and other factors beyond our control.

6. Website Content & Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, designs, and logos — is the property of Vivanta Constructions unless otherwise stated. Project photographs depict actual completed work. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without written permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by British Columbia law:

• Vivanta Constructions is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of this website or reliance on information provided herein.
• We are not responsible for third-party product failures, smart home platform changes, or service interruptions beyond our control.
• Our total liability for any claim related to website content shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service in question.
